THE WAY TO HAPPINESS

Lord Richard Layard, Professor from the London School of Economics, a leading happiness researcher, says:

"Happiness is a balance between your expectations and your attainments. One way is to get what you want. The other, is liking what you get."

Here's some food for thought for us Nigerians. For politicians, government people, I recommend the latter- i.e. CONTENTMENT!!

May God help us all

Be The BEST!

These words come to encourage you
To be the best you can
To bring forth all the treasure
God has put in every man

All those things you love to do
To write or read or dance
Do them with all your heart
Give your destiny a chance

And do not be discouraged
When others laugh or mock or spite
Let their doubts and criticisms
Challenge you to greater heights

‘Cos all, those special gifts
All those things you love to do
Are in you for a reason:
They will make a way for you

So do not let them die
Stir up those things in you
Practice brings perfection
Consistency brings breakthrough!

IN ALL LABOR, THERE IS PROFIT...

This is one scriptural text that never fails to motivate me as I go about my busy life...moreso because I've found it to be so true. No matter what it is, as long as it's honest labor...and no matter how long it takes,...it'll bring some form of profit in the end. Material or immaterial. Na true talk oh... Just a little food for thot!

Towards a better Naija....anyone?

Hey, I'm the new kid on the 'blog'. I've been encouraged by the content of some really cool blogs. Good to know Nigerians out there are not just concerned about our beloved country but actually expressing their concerns positively.
Well I look forward to sharing with you all. This here is one very patriotic Nigerian. I have a vision of a great Nigeria. Anyone with me? More to come...
